Course Description
Designed for experienced actors, this course delves into the intricacies of scene analysis, character interpretation, and collaborative performance. Students will work on complex scenes from classic and contemporary plays, focusing on building nuanced and compelling portrayals. Prerequisites apply; an audition is required to enroll in this advanced class.
The advanced scene study class focuses on Stanislavski's System, Meisner Technique and Practical Aesthetics. Students are expected to perform weekly and provide thoughtful critique of their peers. Guest speakers, including casting directors and agents from Atlanta, frequently attend the advanced classes to scout new talent. Instructor, Jackson Bryant, is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and has over 20 years experience in professional theater.

The "Acting for Film and Television" course includes hands-on workshops with professional filmmakers. Students will learn about script breakdown, character arc, and collaboration on film sets. They will also create a professional demo reel to showcase their talent to potential employers. This course is taught by Victoria Sterling, who has worked as an actress and acting coach in Los Angeles for over 15 years. Victoria has returned to her native Florida to bring Hollywood experience to the Emerald Coast.
